Cartoon MILFs

Animators like to draw hot moms. Sometime's they aren't drawn to be attractive, but they are anyway. What are some of your favorite animated MILFs?

I'm going to ask that we concentrate on Western animation, or else we'll get sidetracked by people saying "I know she looks like she's 6, but actually she's a 5000 year old scientist who's the mother of a genetically engineered assassin" and that just makes me queasy.

1. Lois Griffin from Family Guy - yeah, she's got a big nose, and an annoying voice, but there's just something about Lois that does it for me. Last night's episode was especially hot.

2. Rosa Santos from Maya & Miguel - this lovely Latina brightens my mornings of watching PBS Kids with the little ones (as does Miss Lori, but she's not animated). Honorable mention goes to Abuelita, who's not bad herself and probably falls into GILF territory.

3. Betty Rubble from The Flintstones - some people prefer Wilma, but they're crazy. Betty is pure sex in cartoon cavewoman form.

4. Marge Simpson from The Simpsons - I personally don't see it, but I know a lot of people do, and since the show's so popular she deserves to be on the list.

5. Francine Smith from American Dad - I hesitated putting her on the list, but I'm not sure why. She's definitely hot for a cartoon character, but something about her puts me off.

Have you guys actually looked at Dagwood's wife Blondie? She'd definitely pass the elbow test.

If you think Lois Griffin and Marge Simpson are hot, you must really have the hots for Ethel from I Love Lucy

She's a special case, she did not start out as a mother, but as a stereotypical hot flapper chick.

A cartoon show on PBS that Michaela and I watched for a couple of years, called George Shrinks, had a very fetching depiction of George's mom.

I don't think Ethel was a mother. The actress playing her was a very attractive lady, though.

Mammy Yokum is the hottest of that batch. At least in her world, where she's had a few rich handsome suitors.

Can we get this back on track? I'm seeing a lot of non-mothers being posted. Some of them may have become mothers eventually, but in most cases I don't feel like they count (i.e. I wouldn't call Mary Jane from Spiderman a MILF even though she did eventually have a child).

Indeed.

It's also worth noting that Marge Simpson is one of the few animated women to appear on the cover of Maxim (her husband, Homer, also appeared on a cover, but he's not a mom, so he doesn't count).

Oh yeah! I'll third Doctor Possible. Definitely in CMILF territory. She's voiced by Jean Smart - even hotter! And now that I know she has a first name - hotter still!!

Mama Zappa, who watches the Kim Possible even less than I do, was confused when I mentioned my crush on Dr. Possible. I had to explain that the Dad is Professor Possible (Ph.D.) and the Mom is Doctor Possible (M.D.). No, hun, my lust for cartoon people is strictly hetero.

Thel from The Family Circus. I still remember that one panel when she was in a bikini. Hawt.

Dennis the Menace's mom. I wouldn't kick that out of bed.

She doesn't look too bad (especially since her haircut), but the fact that she gives birth to melon-headed demonspawn is a bit off-putting.

Who? I hear you say.

She was the Mom on the Brad Bird/Steven Spielberg caretoon Family Dog.

The pictures of her I've found on the internet do NOT do her justice. She l;ooked a LOT better than this in the cartoons.

Although whether or not she is a mother depends on which particular fictional reality you happen to be in.

Well, the Baroness has been a TV cartoon. And in the comic books, she has given birth. She counts.

Mrs X, of Nickelodeon's The Xs.

I would do Janis, of Arlo and Janis. I'm surprised at some of the stuff they get away with - like the time their son comes down to breakfast and asks, "What are you guys smiling about?"

Aren't they both referred to as Doctor in the show, though? I've only ever heard the distinction made via Ron's Mr Dr Possible/Mrs Dr Possible. (And is Mr Dr P actually a professor? I don't remember any reference to him teaching.)

Mrs Dr P is definitely a cutie, though.

Mom Turner (Fairly Odd Parents) always struck me as attractive (in a slightly strange way, I grant).

I once saw a (more recent) Tweety cartoon where Granny came indoors having been out at an unnamed annual 'parade' and she said "You don't want to know what I had to do to get these beads!"

I have a friend who thinks the mom on Between the Lions is kinda hot. It's a puppet. Of a lion.
