Where to buy smaller condoms?

I like to buy some smaller condoms as this is my first time trying on condoms. I'm also not young and I don't want to mention my age as that is going to be very embarrassing. Its not close to 40 year old virgin but its not that far away.

I checked online and I see there are two condoms that seem to advertise small or snugger. One is caution wear iron grip condom and other is lifestyle snugger fit condom. First off, I never seen these at rite aid, walmart etc. Theres another one that is called glyde condom and seem to have good reviews. Are these available in any stores or do these have to be bought online?

I see there always have trojan and other big name brands at the stores but b/c they are average size condoms... I'm very small and I'm sure they will be too big, are these condom brands i mentioned good? Also i heard about asian condoms. I do have that type of size for a penis. Where do you buy these or it has to be online?

I wouldn't feel embarrassed buying a trojan condom as its regular size at a store but if i go and buy one of those iron grip or lifestyle snugger fit... well that would be very embarrassing.

If there are any males here that are below average or small... I would like your opinion.

As I've mentioned before, the euphemism for smaller sized condom is "Ultra Fit", and a variety of brands come with that moniker. Alternatively, you can buy online from Japanese companies, they tend to be a ... more sung fit.

I don't see ultra fit in many of them. I do see word like snugfit and smaller fit. That should be fine?

Also... will these have to be purchased online? Or do stores actually have these but i can't find them.

Also does it mean trojan and other big name brands available at the stores useless for me then since they are average size?

Here.

Seriously though, ISTR that one of the online vendors has a measuring tape-thing, and you can buy tailored condoms specifically for your length and girth. Plus, most Japanese brands run on the small side from what I've read.

Also, I think they're all manufactured in a fairly narrow range of sizes, with the "ultra-fit" and the "Magnum" sizes not being drastically far apart, and "regular" will probably fit fine, unless you're unusually small in girth. (the length isn't so important unless you're some kind of tripod).

"Tapered" is another word I've seen for the smaller girth ones in stores too. ISTR some other words but I'm mostly not shopping the entire section unless purchase is time sensitive and they don't have a preferred option in stock. Get to a local store like a pharmacy or grocery store (with a good section) and spend some time looking around. You can check any of the vague marketing speak online if it seems to ...

fit.

Feel free to consult this slightly NSFW site.

And remember, while there may be a large difference in the size of flaccid penises, erections tend to even things out. You may not need as small a style as you think.

If you do find what you want in a local store, use the self checkout and no one will have to see what you're buying. Go to a store out of town, but trust me when I tell you I have cashiered lots of places and we really pay no attention to what you're buying. We've seen it all, and if we carry it, someone has come in and proudly plopped it down on the counter without a second thought. I'd never think to examine your condom selection for size, flavor, scent, etc. I'd creep myself out doing that.

Another retail person here, and my assigned part of the store is where the condoms are. If you are embarrassed or nervous that's OK, a lot of people are when purchasing such things, but those of us working in such places have heard it all. I try to be as discreet and helpful as possible.

If you are treated with anything less go to another store.

Condoms aren't tailored and don't need to be. They may be sized differently for gimmicky reasons, but they'll all work for any of us. I'm average or larger by all accounts: as reported by my sex partners, as observed in porn and at nudist events, and by all statistics I've read. And I still have a hard time keeping them from slipping off during any sex rougher than "gentle". Roll them on correctly, so they're airtight, and get into the habit of holding the base of the condom onto your penis in any position where it feels like it might slide off. They're working on making better condoms as we speak. Hang in there.

Most men think they're smaller than average, or bigger than average.

If you really do need a smaller condom, I recommend the "slimmer" variety.

Walmart sells "party packs" of condoms. Different sizes which can be tried for fit with an erection. A male friend told me this during a drunken moment. TMI dude!

Oh if only self checkout had existed in my youth when I occasionally bought condoms--strictly to put over gun barrels when I went plinking in the desert you understand--it would have saved my blushes.

Buying condoms I always did with swagger because it means, hey I'm getting a little sumpin' sumpin'.

OTOH, luckily I've never needed to buy Preparation H.

How could young have gotten to the point of searching the web for small condoms, learned all about the brands and lingo and then not be able to find our where to get them?

When I was a teenage Target cashier, ca. 1980, whenever a teenage male employee bought anything, he would ALWAYS include a box of condoms, just to embarrass us girls. Thing is, I can't remember any of them actually purchasing them. They would always say, "Oh, I decided not to buy them" as we giggled and blushed.

One day, a manager's wife bought some, and that got around the store in about 0.03 seconds. I was one of the few people who didn't think it was extremely funny. I mean, what's the big deal? They didn't want to have a baby right then, and that was how they were going about it.

Self checkout? How old are you, kid?

Back in the day, condoms were kept behind the counter and you had to ask the clerk for them.

In some places, they still are, because of rampant shoplifting.

A generation before that, the pharmacist would tell your parents.

We'd never be able to guess your age, Peter38. Hey don't sweat it, I know a girl your age that's a virgin. She's still waiting for the right guy. We have threads with 40 year old virgins and people will reply with "Pfff, 40 is nothing, I'm a 50 year old virgin." Then someone else will top that. We have a long tradition of not getting laid around here.

I always had that attitude too but deep down I knew the only reason I was there was because the condoms I kept on hand in case of emergency had expired and needed to be replaced. Time to rotate the stock!

I've done most of my shopping for everything online since around 2000. Is that not an option for you? Even prior to that, I bought my first condoms through mail order. I bought some sort of variety pack through Adam and Eve that had every size imaginable and colors, flavors, etc. I remember trying on Lifestyles Snugger Fit (which you should still be able to buy discretely from probably a million different sites). It was very tight on my average girth and left a tight red mark around 2 inches up the shaft. I also recall the regular lifestyles that were always given away for free at school seemed to fit on the tighter side compared to other average brands. At the same time I have tried large condoms that were tight and average ones that were baggy. Also, a lot of websites have the dimensions- So you can see one is 49mm wide, another 53, another 56, and so on.

Thailand, at least, Pattaya.

Also, Chinese condoms are quite small, and I only fall right at the peak of the bell curve for (presumably) non-Asian guys. I don't know about the Thai ones, as I've never actually purchased them there, only have seen them heavily protected behind the counters.

What about adding a cockring at the base of the condom? Should help it stay put.

Was once given the "party pack" -
Was surprised by how much difference there was in different designs - one in particular was very very short...

While we are reminiscing - When I was a randy teenager condoms (we called them Johnnys or French Letters) came from the barber. "Something for the weekend sir?" was a familiar question as they used the mirror to show us the back. A nod was all that was needed and a packet of three was discretely handed over with the change. Not that I had to buy them as often as I got my hair cut

Dad and kid in the condom aisle.

"Dad, why do these come in 2-packs?"

"Those are for when you're in high school, son. Friday night and Saturday night."

"But these others come in 3-packs."

"Those are for college students; Friday night, Saturday night, Sunday afternoon."

"How about these 12-packs?"

"Those are for when you're married. January, February..."

At the Rite Aid near my apartment the three-packs are locked down, like razor blades (and for pretty much the same reasons) but the larger boxes, that don't fit in a pocket, are not.

That could be just Pattaya, and with its reputation I could see why. But in 7-Elevens and other convenience stores in Bangkok they're right at the counter for you to pick and choose yourself. In pharmacies such as Boots and Watsons, they're down regular aisles. And supermarkets have them in aisles too, sometimes near the check-out stands.

They sell extra-sized ones here marketed at Westerners. Really. So I guess the regular ones are more for smaller penises.

Real men use Duct Tape! As a bonus, removing it removes the hair in the area for a cleaner look, for those that are into that sort of thing.
