Cigars of Bond.

What kind of cigars does Bond, James bond, smoke?

What about other famous characters from other movies?

I seem to remember that he was more of a cigarette man (in the books, at least)

I'm wrong:
Quote:
One of James Bond's greatest pleasures is cigarettes and he usually smokes sixty per day of a special Balkan and Turkish mixture with three gold bands on the filter. The cigarettes are specially made for him by Morland's and carried in a wide, thin cigarette case of black gunmetal with room for fifty. Bond also carries a battered black oxidized Ronson lighter.

In "die another day" he lights up a cigar when he meets Hali barries character.

Also is there a recreater of these Morland's?

If I smoked three packs of cigarettes a day, I doubt that I'd be in the physical condition needed to pull off some of the stunts Bond did.

That's what you have stuntmen for.

Having energetic sex with all those women would probably provide the counter-effect needed.

The best answer to the OP that I could find is "Cuban." From a column at Cigar Aficionado Online:

Quote:
But Die Another Day has a scene in Cuba. Cuba and Bond equal British spy smoking cigars.
As for the brand of cigar, it isn't mentioned by Cigar Aficionado, perhaps because (and this is a guess), Bond's preferred brand is never clear to begin with. From the same source:

Quote:
According to the books written by Ian Fleming, on which the films are based, James Bond is regularly described lighting up a number of handmade smokes.
We all know that in the books, Bond smokes specially-made cigarettes, but I'm assuming that given the source (Cigar Aficionado), "handmade smokes" in the above quoted paragraph refers to cigars.

So the best I can do to answer the OP is "Cuban cigars." Sorry I cannot cite a brand name though.

Given the falling rate of cigarette smoking in the past 20 years -- what was the last Bond movie in which James lit up a cancer stick? (I'm talking cigarette, not cigar).

One Bond actor definitely preferred cigars.

Quote:
Moore's contract for the 007 films provided him with an unlimited supply of Montecristo cigars during filming. The bill for this typically ran to thousands of pounds.

Skammer, from the same source at Cigar Aficionado that I quoted above:

Quote:
This is the first time in 13 years that our hero Bond has been seen smoking on film. The last time was in 1989s License to Kill, starring Timothy Dalton as Bond.
