Ladies - In general, do you find men with red hair and freckles attractive?

Further, would you eff a man with red hair and freckles? Does it matter to you at all?

I'm dating one, and he's the love of my life.
have to say: he's ginger, which has now gone dark on his head, but his pubes are still brightly orange. It's quite funny.
He's no freckles in his face, but the rest of his body is absolutely covered in it.
Me, I've only freckles in my face; nowhere else.

My favourite passtime is to kiss every single freckle on my BF's body

Sure, redheaded guys are cute. (Don't tell my husband, though.)

Sure, I dated one before I met my boyfriend. He was sexy (but not as much so as my boyfriend!)

I'm dating one. His hair looks reddish-brown though. Usually he keeps it real short, like almost bald. I persuaded him to grow it out earlier this year and people would come up to me and say, "I didn't know J had red hair!". He doesn't have a heck of a lot of freckles, mainly on his shoulders and upper back. He's so cute .

I really dig the redheads. Freckles just add to the package.

Redheads are good. Out of curiosity, Omnipresent, why do you ask?

In gereral, no, red hair and freckles are not an immediate turn on for me. They're not a definite turn off either, but neither are attributes that are especially appealing to me, personally. Of course, I've seen some redhead/freckled guys that are attractive. Hell, some guys look great with red hair. It depends on the whole package. As to whether or not I'd fuck one...I have no idea. Suffice it to say I'd fuck some of them (assuming I wasn't already taken).

Oops, missed a word in that second sentence...(in addition to double posting it). It should read "but neither are they attributes[/i]", they being red hair and freckles.

Not a turnoff, but not necessarily an automatic turnon.

Would I have sex with one? The hair/freckles would have absolutely nothing to do with whether or not I would.

It depends on the guy. like Heart said, it's not an immediate turn on (just like not every dark haired man turns me on), but it's not a turnoff. If you asked me to create my ideal man, he'd probably have dark hair, but I've dated blondes and brunettes (is that the proper term for a dark haired man?). I've never dated a red-haired man, but I had a giant crush on one once, and I've definitely been attracted to them. In general, my attraction to men has a lot to do with their attitude, less with their looks. If I met the right redhead, I wouldn't kick him out of bed for eating crackers

I don't, but I don't think many redheads of either gender (especially those of us girls with brothers or boys with sisters with red hair too) find themselves attracted to too many other redheads. It's got to be people thinking anyone with redhead is related to you that causes the other redhead to have to be exceptional looking to get your notice.

OTOH, my brother has always had throngs of girls following him about, so some girls definitely find redhead guys attractive.

Strangely, three of the four men I've known in a Biblical sense have been redheaded (two of them with freckles). I say strangely, because if you'd asked me about redheads before I was 24 years old, I'd have said "meh".

Of course, considering that the first redhead was a sociopath, the second was an emotionally delayed basketcase, and the third refused to use a condom properly, I may have something of a Pavlovian reaction to redheads by now.

Or not.

We could certainly find out.

It would definately get my attention, which would probably up my chances of noticing and/or propositioning you (assuming I was single at the time, which I'm not ATM). I can take or leave freckles; red hair is different and interesting, though, which makes it neat.

To clarify: freckles in particular are a plus. Red hair is nice too, but not more so than other colors. But freckles are... well... a plus. On any color person. Black-guy freckles are just as hot as white-guy freckles.

Well I don't.

Confession time: I have very red hair and lots of freckles. I think it looks OK on a woman. It looks adorable on children.

But on a man it looks... childish. Cute, maybe, but definitely not masculine.

My opinion.

All redheads are irresistible to members of the opposite sex. Fact. Just ask any spouse of a redhead

Red heads get better looking the older they get I've noticed.

Wouldn't and hasn't stopped me from nothing.

HELL YES!

*wipes away the drool*

'Specially the type with red chest hair running all the way down...*more drool*

It would be terribly hypocritical of me to reject a man with freckles. I laid out this year hoping to get a little color so I wouldn't look so ghostly at the pool... nope. Got more freckles tho.

Just curious as, I have a friend who's that description who's only dated once and married that one girl. Wondered if it was the bozo hair and/or the potentially cancerous marks on his skin that are the cause of this, or his personality.

For me, appearance takes a back seat to personality and personal hygiene. A killer smile blinds me to hair color. And obnoxious behavior turns me of altogether.

Red Headed Guy with not too many freckles checking in....From the other side of the coin, I've had a lot of women tell me they love my hair, but not in a "I wanna do you" sense, but a "I wish I had hair that color" sense. I think more women prefer dark hair and eyebrows because it seems more dominant. I have heard women say they didn't like redheaded guys. I've never heard women say they didn't like dark-haired or blonde guys. Then again, I've been with women who discovered that red haired men could be sexy and that dark = dominant and not dark= not dominant is just not true. But I've never been with a woman who was "into redheads"...

I am not a lady but my current boyfriend has red hair. His head hair is strawberry blond. His facial and body hair are all orange/red. He also has freckles but they are only on his arms and legs now. In his earlier pictures he had them on his face too but they have since faded. I know many other men who have fetishized red heads (both straight and gay). For me the person is more important.

mmmmm...red hair and freckles, my fave

Seriously, I have a friend with red hair and freckles and I just want to use him as a teddy bear for the rest of my life. The cuteness of it really draws me.

I wouldn't exclude dating someone because of the colour of their hair, so sure I'd date a redhead.

I've heard Brits refer to 'ginger' hair. Is this different from what I think of as red hair?

In general, I prefer dark men--I'm not all attracted to blondes, despite my own fair coloring. But since my husband, who is one of the most attractive men I know, is very redheaded and very freckle-y, I'd have to answer with a resounding YES.

See, see !? It's society's fault I don't find red haired guys attractive, I tell you.... although, Shawn Hatosy (The Faculty etc) isn't too bad looking.

I am raising a wonderful red head with freckles, he'd agree with you that he's not attracted to other red heads. While people tell him all the time what great hair he's got, he doesn't think it's particularly wonderful.

I think not only his hair color and features are great but he's smart, well mannered and fun to be around too. Of course, I'm his mom, so I concede I might be a bit biased.
