What are the all time top 10 stripper songs?

For one I'll nominate Rod Stewart's Hot Legs

The Stripper by David Rose has to be #1. It's THE song that people think of when they think of strippers.

Warning: The song is autoplay...you DO NOT want to click on that at work. Or church. Or in the same room as your wife or mother-in-law. Seriously.

Are you talking songs about strippers, or songs that strippers dance to?

About strippers: Girls, Girls, Girls - by Motley Crue - it's about strip clubs around the world.

strippers dance to: Closer - Nine Inch Nails - because it has the line "I want to fuck you like an animal"

That song makes me think of a burlesque show, not a strip club.

Nickleback - Rock Star
Kid Rock - Cowboy
Poison - Talk Dirty to Me
Britney Spears - Toxic
Justine Timberlake - SexyBack
Katy Perry - I Kissed a Girl
Lada Gaga - Poker Face

That's #1 with me. If you can't strip to that ditty, get out of the business.

Every time I have been to a strip club some chick has stripped to Closer, that is absolutely my number one. Also that White Zombie song, More Human than Human.

Over twenty posts and no AC/DC? Every strip club I've ever walked into had some AC/DC song playing within minutes. Back in Black, TNT, Highway To Hell... the list goes on and on.

It won't be on anybody else's list, but the best match of dance to music I ever saw was "Taboo" by Santana.

Not exactly what we're talking about, but is that "bow chicka wow-wow" porn music any real song, or is it just canned music?

What, no mention of John Parr's classically terrible "Naughty Naughty"?!

I saw untold dozens of strippers grinding away to this 'raunchy-lite' tune back in the 80s when I was young enough to still find some allure in strip joints. The last time I went to a strip club was with a few of my young co-workers a few years ago, and 22-year-old chicks with big fake boobs were still dancing to it.

"You can leave your hat on" is a good choice.*

When they show strippers in sit-coms etc., they are usually dancing to some kind of generic eurotechno-ish kind of music. Anybody know what I mean?

* Because I associate it with The Full Monty.

Yes. Strippers often dance to eurodance or pop trance music.

According to my ex-stripper coworker, 9 out of 10 strippers dance to Nickleback's "Something in Your Mouth." The 10th stripper dances to "some rap song."

Not a stripper song, but a song about strippers: "A Lap Dance Is So Much Better When The Stripper Is Crying" by the Bloodhound Gang.

One of the best song titles ever.

"Rag Doll" is a good Aerosmith track for a stripper, but I've always been partial to "Love in an Elevator", especially the "Go-ing do-ownnn!" part.

Marilyn Manson "I don't like the drugs", every time I've been in a strip club this has played at least once.

One stripper that I spoke with said that Metallica's "One" was THE favorite for lap dances because of the heavy music, but mostly because it was the longest song on their jukebox. It was one of my favorites too, for just these two reasons.

I used to know a stripper who claimed that she spent several months without success trying to get their club's DJ to play that song for one of her dances.

Anybody else dig Sam Sham and the Pharaohs "Little Red Riding Hood" or is that just me? I saw a redhead do a themed number with that song once. Except for her dancing style resembling a siezure, it was pretty nice.

Due to watching TV and movies, I would have sworn that Motley Crue's "Girls Girls Girls" would be the obvious #1. FWIW, I was at a batchelor party where strippers danced to Prince's "Pussy Control"

"Patricia the Stripper" by Chris de Burgh is a classic!

A few years ago, I saw a girl strip to "Come Sail Away" by Styx, I've never listened to the song the same since.

I really doubt any stripper has actually danced to this song, but it is about strippers and very strip-able at the same time-

CockSparrer's "Sunday Stripper."

I always hear "Obsession" by Animotion. I once saw a girl dance to "World Destruction" by John Lydon and Afrika Bambaata, and I wish that was more common. The extended version of Freebird is nice.

If "The Stripper" is #1, then "Night Train" has to be #2....
