Similarity between Labyrinth and Judy Garland/Mickey Rooney movie?

Last night, as we are wont to do, my husband and I recited the dialogue:

You remind me of the babe
What babe?
The babe with the power
What power?
The power of voodoo
Who do?
You do
Do what?
Remind me of the babe

Afterward he asked me what that was from and I told him it was from the song Magic Dance by David Bowie in the movie Labyrinth. He said he was sure he had seen it in a much earlier movie (and in fact has never seen Labyrinth). He thinks he saw it in dialogue (not a song) at the end of a Judy Garland/Mickey Rooney movie. I know it was in Labyrinth, but was there a similar bit of dialogue in an old movie?

The Bachelor and the Bobby-Soxer (1947) with Cary Grant, Myrna Loy and Shirley Temple. Written by Sidney Sheldon (story & screenplay).

Richard Nugent: Hey, you remind me of a man.
Susan Turner: What man?
Richard Nugent: Man with the power.
Susan Turner: What power?
Richard Nugent: Power of hoodoo.
Susan Turner: Hoodoo?
Richard Nugent: You do.
Susan Turner: Do what?
Richard Nugent: Remind me of a man...

Once again, you guys are awesome. I had no idea the Labyrinth scene was a reference to an older movie.

No tune at all. It was patter.

Even when the Goblin King ran the patter, he didn't sing it.

Not only written by Sidney "Rage of Angels" Sheldon, but it won him an Original Screenplay Oscar! And given his competition that year, makes it arguably the worst win in the category's history.
