Snorkeling

And I mean with a mask and fins...

Anyone following the news about Congressman Massa knows that he is now being accused of attempted "snorkeling".

Is that a euphemism for giving someone a BJ? If not, what is it? And where in the hell did this come from-- is it Navy slang, this one guy's use of the term, or...?

Link.

Quote:
Clarke says that Massa's roommate, Tom Maxfield, was also assaulted. "Tom lived on upper bunk," Clarke say. "When you're on ship, you're almost exhausted 24-7. So a lot of times you sleep with your uniform on. Tom and Massa shared a stateroom together. Massa climbed up on the top of his bunk, which is hard to do--you never crawl up on somebody else's bunk. He wakes up to Massa undoing his pants trying to snorkel him."

According to Urban Dictionary:

Quote:
snorkeling:

(variation of the roman war helmet) This maneuver is performed by placing your testicles over the eyes of your partner, forming a mask. Then the breathing apparatus is formed by placing the end of your penis into the receiver's mouth. This maneuver if preferably performed in water(bath tub, hot tub, pool etc.)
My girlfriend wanted to go snorkeling in the islands but I couldn't afford it. So instead, I tricked her into snorkeling my penis.

In the navy
Yes, you can sail the seven seas
In the navy
Yes, you can put your mind at ease
In the navy
Come on now, people, make a stand
In the navy, in the navy
Can't you see we need a hand
In the navy
Come on, protect the motherland
In the navy
Come on and join your fellow man
In the navy
Come on people, and make a stand
In the navy, in the navy, in the navy (in the navy)

According to Pop-Up Music Videos, some old admiral heard the song and though it would be a great song to promote navy recruitment. They didn't explain how the lower brass told to him why it was not a good idea to use the Village People as a spokespeople for the navy, but I'm sure it was an interesting conversation.

Amusingly, Massa showed Larry King pictures of an equator crossing ceremony to "prove" that his incredibly gay-seeming actions were not really all that gay.

I repaired the video projector in a gay porn theater once, and the activity in that theater and on the screen was far less gay than the average line crossing on a Navy ship. So I'm willing to accept that he might have a point.
